send receive dialog box pops up even though box is marked

My send receive dialog box pops up (annoyingly) during every send receive. I
have checked off the box telling Outlook NOT to show during send receive.
Any suggestions as to how to turn this off?

This is usually a symptom of having the Status Bar disabled. Click View and
check Status Bar.
