Send emails stay (don't send) in my Outbox with "opened" icon

My OL2003 Send emails stay (don't send) in my Outbox displaying the "opened"
or "New Mail" icon . This requires me to Forward and re-Send to ensure they
are actually sent. This is maddening!!

Thanks K, but I attempted all of the relevant troubleshooting tips at the URL
you suggested, (i.e. repaired .pst with SCANPST, created new .pst, created
new Profile, ensured addresse's address is in your PAB(why?),. However HAVE
NOT tried a new email client. Intuitively I feel like my address book is
somehow conflicting with my Profile, but since I've rebuilt both of them,
that doesn't hold.

It's really frustrating me that I even have to go to this extent. I'm trying
to run a business, not be a MS Outlook geek.. .

Are you using Exchange as a mail server?
