Send data from query to table

Hi,

Is it possible to write and query and send the results to
a table in access 2000, for that table to be then used by
excel as an external data source, if so please tell me how.

in Query-Design right click beside the table
choose Query-type and make-Table-Query
 
Simply save your query and use that query as the external data source in
Excel.
