self restarting system

i have a problem with my computer, it keeps restarting by itself. i know it
is not blaster or sasser worms (checked for them). the computer just randomly
restarts at any givin time. i'll be using the computer then and small blue
boox pops up in the middle of the screen with the msg: "off mode in 5 secs"
any suggestions.

I am quoting from another post made by another poster... their answer to
your problem:

"To stop this behavior go to Control Panel / System / Advanced /
Click the Startup and Recovery Settings button / Uncheck the box
labeled "Automatically restart" under the System Failure section.
