self boot

Hi,

My computer seems to be booting up by itself. It has happened before, every
once in a while but I just thought i forgot to turn it off.

The event viewer logged it at 4:23am today. 2 days ago, it booted twice at
5:18am and 11:53pm.

Virus scans show no infection. Any ideas how it booted by itself.

Check your BIOS settings- if it is set to resume after power loss (like mine
is) and you have it plugged into the wall, there may be power fluxes that
are triggering it on.

Ah... it's the bios playing games. For a while, i thought some strange
beings reside here. *LOL*

1PW, Thanks to you too, I've read the wakeup on LAN, interesting, but i
don't have LAN.
