Hi,
the comp boots up on its own - within an hour or two of shutdown. I was
advised - on a different forum - to disable "wake up on LAN" in BIOS.
However, I can only find the setting "PME event wake up" under "power
management setup" in my BIOS. The "wake up on LAN" setting does not seem to
be there. "PME event wake up" is indeed enabled. Will disabaling it do the
trick, or is the "wake up on LAN" in there somewhere and I just didn't find
it?

Advice is appreciated, thanks
George

Try it - it won't hurt anything. Also, make sure that there isn't a setting
in the BIOS to turn the computer on everyday at a certain time.
