Selective Deletion

Dear All

I was wondering is it possible to write a macro to delete unwante
cells within a column...?

For example Col A & B have the same values as Col C and D... However,
would only like to keep only Australia in Col A and its correspondin
values in Col B and as for Col C, I would only like to keep China an
its corresponding values in Col D...

Hence, is it possible to (1) delete China in Col A & B...
(2) delete Australia in Col C & D and move China up to the first row?

I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions...

Cheers

Column A | Column B | Column C | Column D |
Australia | HP | Australia | HP
Australia | BHP | Australia | BHP
Australia | DELL | Australia | DELL
CHINA | AP | CHINA | AP
CHINA | BP | CHINA | BP
CHINA | HP | CHINA | H

Hi
not a beautiful solution but if this is a one-time procedure try the
following:
- copy columns C+D on a separate sheet and delete them on your original
sheet
- filter (Data - autofilter) column A on your original sheet for
'china' and delete all rows
- remove the filter in your original sheet
- repeat this on your second sheet with the copied data. After doing
this copy the data in col. C+d of your original sheet. After this
delete the second sheet

Done.
