Selection of Display Properties Causes Reboot

Hi

I have an IBM NetVista running Windows 2000 Professional tha
reboots every time I select display properties, either from right-clickin
on the desktop or when choosing Settings + Control Panel + Displa

I saw this post

...but don't think that will work since choosing properties causes a reboot

This happens under any login profile, including the administrator login

Anybody have any ideas on this

Do you really mean that you only have to *select* it, or rather that the
reboot occurs after you have actually changed the settings? If the latter,
then have a look at the Advanced Settings section of your Display
properties, specifically the "Apply the new display settings without
restarting" option.
