Selection color in List

Any chance to change selection color from that Navy to any color I want into
a list box?

You can change it in the implementation of these controls.
 
I tryed some stuffs without result
I'm almost repainted whole listitem.. and all this for a selection color.
Every sample I found was calling drawBackground and drawFocusRect of the
listItem..without a chance to change the highlight color of selected item
