selecting worksheet

Is there a way to select maximum 1 worksheet at a time so that the users of
a book of sheets can't erase data on the other worksheets?

You could hid the other sheets or protect them (Tools|Protection.....)

The problem is that many users have to put data in the sheets of one
workbook but they may not select 2 or more sheets accedentely. Each sheet
has to contain the points of one individual. Several different people that
are not habituated to work with Excel will enter those points. I am afraid
that they will erase data on the sheets while selecting some other sheets.
