thanks for your interest I hav an excel invoice program & it saves all my
data, although when i go to close out it again asks if i want to save then
doc. I did so for the first two months in a file that always came up it was
just titled 1033 ? but that is just where i saved them according to the
month. Now for the problem I incountered a glich when switching from 2003 to
2007 & now when I get to the point of do you want to save this doc. it throws
up a compleatly different window so I have to go through numerous files first
to find the one I want. I was wondering if there is a was to tell "IT' to be
the one to pop up? I'm not the sharpest tool in the PC shed I hope this makes
sence.

You should post this to an Excel or Office NG where those experts hang
out. But I suspect there's an option, possibly under Edit, Preferences,
to change the default folder.
