Selecting/editing text without the mouse

Hi,

For me, it's much easier to use the arrow keys, compared to the mouse,
to move up/down and left/right on an Excel spreadsheet.

When I navigate to a box that already has text in it, is there any way
to edit that text (without using the mouse to click on the box)? For
example, if I navigate to a box with the arrow keys and start typing,
it deletes the contents of the box and starts over. I want to know if
there is some key I can press when I have navigated to a box that is
equivalent to clicking on the box with the mouse, which then allows you
to edit the box.

See what you can do after pressing key F2

F2 enters the cell for editing, putting the insertion point at the end to
the current data.

Jason,

Some other techniques you might like to use to avoid using the mouse while
in a cell are the End and Home keys, selecting text via holding Shift while
using RightArrow or LeftArrow, Ctrl-C for copy, Ctrl-v for paste. And for
formulas, Enter or Edit modes (determines whether the arrow keys put cell
references or just move the cursor) by pressing F2. See
