Selected Navigation Button does not appear

Hi,
I am new here,
I have in FrontPage 2003 vertical navigation bar,
In the theme I select modify and in graphics - vertical navigation,
have three pictures:
Picture, selected, and hover.

when I modify the file of picture or hover, it works nice
But the picture of selected never shows.
not the original and not the modified, in none of t5he themes.

maybe it connected to stile sheet links, I tried some styles, but there
are planty of them...

any help aill be very appreciated

Make sure you have the Active Graphics Option turned On when you apply the theme
