Is there a way to see which files are being loaded during normal boot
in Windows XP like when using safe mode boot (where you see all the
files being loaded, and it sometimes asks you if you want to load a
file).

I'm having an issue with normal boot; safe mode works fine. I want to
see what is specifically causing the blue screen on normal boot by
being able to see the point of failure.

Hi Theo,

Open MSCONFIG, (Start, Run, type msconfig, click OK), click on the
BOOT.INI tab, click on /BOOTLOG, then click OK. Reboot.

To view the contents of this file, look for Ntbtlog.txt in the
%SystemRoot% folder (Possibly C:\WINDOWS). If your system is hanging
because of a faulty driver, the last entry in this log file may identify
the culprit.

Report back,
