Hello all
I wanted to send some of my internet links in an email, so I copied and
tried
to paste into the body of the email...didn't work. I could attach them, but
it seems strange
that I can't copy and paste into the body!

I haven't visited the vista group for awhile, and when the new messages are
downloaded,
(I have in Outlook Express options for 1000 messages to be downloaded) it
seems most have
the Re: prefix, so I don't get the op post. Is this because I don't log on
everyday?

Second question first: you must uncheck the get [so many] headers
at a time box in order to see everything that gets posted here. If you
don't mind getting tens of thousands of headers (which will take a
while with a high speed connection), then that is all you need to do.

What I do is to delete all the messages first (via right clicking
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general, clicking properties, selecting
the local file tab, and clicking the delete button). I do this for a fresh
start and to only get those headers posted after clearing them all out.

First question second: I'm not sure what you're doing, so I suggest
that you describe exactly what you are doing. An appropriate group:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail

If you want to send a link from IE7, just click on "Page", right top near
"Tools", then "Send link by email"

Thanks, that worked.
