I am using Outlook 2007. I would like a different calendar, one from a
personal folder, to appear on the Outlook Today page. Is there a way to
change the default so the appointments from a calendar I have added or choose
will be viewable in Outlook Today? Or is there just the one option of the
default folder (Home: user@*.com).

The only calendar Outlook Today will show you is your default calendar. Your
default calendar is the calendar in the same data store that holds your Inbox.
You can change your default calendar, but not without changing all your other
default folders as well.
