See attachment line in new message?

OK, I admit this is probably a simple fix, but I don't know where to find it
at the moment. In Outlook 2003 on WinXP machine using Word as the editor,
how do we get the attachment line to show? I would like to see the to: line,
the cc: line, the bcc: line, the subject line and the attachment line. Is
that possible? If I can't have all of those, at the minimum I would like to
see to:, cc:, subject and attachment. At the moment, when we add an
attachment, nothing shows up, not even the icon in the body of the message.
Thanks in advance.

You should see the attachment line as soon as you attach a file to an HTML or plain text format message.
