I have a database on a network that I have disabled the
autobypasss key. Users log into the system with their own
username and password. I guess this helps a little but
another problem is that you can still open a differnt
database and import from the database that I am trying to
protect. I cannot password the whole database or I would
have to give everyone the password anyway.

How do you stop someone from importing from your database
to another database and /or writing to your database from
another database.

Thank you.

You need to use Access "user level security". It is very capable, but also
quite complex to learn. Plan on spending >at least a few weeks< to get the
basic hang of it. Locate, download & study the "Access Security FAQ" for
detailed information.
