hi. i have a problem. my broder is allways using my
computer. he logs in by using the administrator account.
how do i get a password to taht accout or makes him totaly
unable to use my computer at all.

If you're running XP Pro, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the welcome screen,
with no users logged on. You'll get the old Win2K style dialog. Enter
Administrator and hope the password is blank, or what you entered when you
installed XP. Then go to Control Panel, User Accounts and change the
password on the Administrator account.

GO TO "USER ACCOUNTS" IN THE CONTROL PANEL, AND FOLLOW
THE INSTRUCTIONS ON "SETTING UP NEW ACCOUNT"

Start / Run cmd and then enter
net localgroup admnistrators
Now, for each account listed as an admin you
must take control by giving it a new, difficult
to guess password.
Next enter
net localgroup users
and determine if any of these might be used by him
and similarly take control over them.
