Greetings...

I just installed Office 2003 and now when I launch previous versions of
Access programs I receive the following messages:

"Security Warning: Unsafe expressions are not blocked"
&
"Do you want to block unsafe expressions"

I went to the microsoft page for direction and was instructed to look at the
Jet 4.0 SP8; however, I also read that if I was running Windows XP (w/ SP2)
then it contained a later version of Jet 4.0 SP8....does this sound correct?
If so, it sounds like I'm back where I started from...

Bottom line, I'd like to be able to launch my Access programs w/o receiving
the above messages...any assistance would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,

Steve

Since you are posting via the CDO interface copy\paste the below link into your Browsers address bar to access the proper group for you issue

news://msnews.microsoft.public.access.setupconfig

Click No. Once an Access db is open:
Click Tools > Macro > Security
Select the security level you wish, I suspect you want low.
Click Ok > No.

Keep in mind that without any macro security checking, if a nasty gets
through your defenses and ends up in a db you will not know.
