Security Translation using ADMT

Hi, I have a windows 2000 domain(AD) with file server resources. I am
plaaning to move my windows 2000 domain user accounts to a new child domain
under windows 2003 domain using ADMT tool.
Currently the domain admin does not have full access to file
resources(Permission on folders are restricted even to domain admin) Will I
be able to do a successful security translation on folders? What I mean is
after the security translation users should retain access to the folders and
files. Thanks.

Thanks Desmon,

Is is not necessary for ADMT account(account used to run the ADMT tool) to
have full access on folders to perform a successfull security translation? In
my case domain admin and ADMT account does not have access to some of the
folders, will I be able to do a successfull security translation on those
folders?
