Hi,
As the administrator, A Windows XP machine gave me the
following error message. "Security logon the system is
full". As the administrator I can log on but can't fix
the problem with the tools available. Please let me know
what and where to do the fix. Thank you. Marc

This is a message that looks like an error when in fact
it is the log file that is full. Log on as an
administrator and to to administrative tools, event
viewer and the security log. Save the file and then
clear the contents. Make sure you set the policy to roll
the log in the future.

You may try this: log on as an administrator, clear
security event log, then disable auditing if allowed. If
you can not disable auditing, check the security event log
before you clear it up and see what events fills up the
log. If possible, modified your audit settings not to
audit those events.
