What are "Security descriptors" and how critical is it if Disk Doctor finds
an error in them
Also how can they be fixed

You're better off without Norton Disk Doctor. Running chkdsk / F should
correct any issues.
 
Thank you Wesley and Rock, I think I'll try chkdsk/F as suggested for the
moment.
