PLEASE HELP...IM TRYING TO REGISTER FOR E BAY,WHEN I TRY
TO SEND MY INFO{i.e.CREDIT CARD #,} I GET A SECURITY
ALERT TELLING ME I MIGHT BE REDIRECTED TO A NON-SECURE
WEBSITE,& DO I WISH TO CONTINUE,OF COURSE I STOP. WHY IS
THIS HAPPENING?

Post the exact message and Could explain further. But it
sounds like you are getting the message which informs you
that you are being referred from a non-secure url to a
secure one or vice-versa.

The warning you are recieving is a standard internet explorer alert. Your credit information is transmitted over a secure connection. But the page that you are directed to afterward is un secure. So, don't worry. Your information is safe.

Greetings --

First of all, please unstick your CapsLock key. Posting in all
caps, as you have done, is the Usenet equivalent of shouting, and is
considered very rude. More importantly, posting in all caps makes the
post very hard to read, further reducing your chances of getting help.

The Security Alert is self-explanatory. It's warning you that
what you're trying to do is not 100% safe, so that you can make an
informed decision on whether or not you wish to proceed.
