Hi,
I have an access 200 database file, and i have follow the steps to create
the security password for the database file (the database is on the network
drive h:\myprogram folder). This works fine on my computer. However when
opening the database file from other user pc off of the network drive
(h:\myprogram\mydatabase.mdb), no username or password was required to access
the database.

Unfortunately this indicates that you didn't follow all the steps. It's my
guess that the 'Users' group still has permissions but I'd recommend that
you follow the FAQ (link on my web site) and omit nothing. The example on
my web site might help you too.

Keith.

I am having the same problem with users not required to login. Have you
found a fix yet?

The process of securing an Access database, is admittedly complex. But
this symptom shows that you have missed one of the simplest steps.

The "fix" is to follow a printed list of specific instructions - adding
and omitting nothing.

Try the "Access Security FAQ", mentioned by Keith.
