Secure move with eraser?

By accident I noticed that if I put the cursor on a desktop icon, then
held down the right mouse button and moved the icon a bit, that when I
released the mouse button a context menu would pop up offering (among
other more mundane things) the option: "Secure move with eraser".

Can anyone translate that for me? I haven't a clue, and am too
chicken to experiment.

You have a product called 'Eraser' installed on your PC. This effectively
securely deletes any file that you tell it to delete by over writing the
file up to 35 times. The option you are seeing allows you to move the file
to another folder/directory and, as it moves the file, it erases the
original file.

Eraser is a powerful tool so use it with care. You should remember that when
you erase a file using eraser the file is well and truely deleted. You will
not be able to get it back.
