Secure LDAP Question

Hi,

We have a request from the Unix support that they have an unix based
application with a windows based client. They want to use secure LDAP from a
unix server to forward Secure LDAP query to our w2k DC for domain user
authentication . The reason that they want to use secure LDAP is because
normal LDAP queries are in clear text.

I am not too sure what they are talking about as all I know is that W2K use
Kerbrose .

Could someone give me some help or some info that I can do some research on
this topic ?
