Section numbers in a Table of Contents?

How can I set up my automatic Table of Contents to show my section numbers as
well? For instance:

Introduction ..................................................... 1-1
Profile ............................................................. 2-1

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Thanks a bunch, Anne! Now all I have to do is read up on outline numbering.
I've never done that before, but a proposal will be doing for a client soon
requires the section numbers to show as well, so now's as good a time as any
to learn how! :-)
