Seconds to Minutes to Hours

How does one create a formula which converts seconds in hours and
minutes in Excel? I already tried converting the format to time
without success. Basically, I am creating formula that converts film
footage into estimated time. The formula subtracts the dial reading on
a 35 mm motion picture camera; multiples it by 2/3 (roughly 16 frames
per foot divide by 24 equals your seconds; if you must know); then the
result equal seconds. Now, my inquiry refers to formatting and
converting seconds into minutes. Please let me know if anyone could
lead me in the right direction. Unfortunately, work has me too bogged
down to tinker with this request; so I present the inquiry in this
forum for some assistance.

Custom format the cell as [h]:mm. Also, you will have to divide your
original number of seconds by 86,400 since Excel stores time as a fraction
of a day.

Perhaps your time would be better spent on improving your communication
skills.
I'm pretty sharp in understanding people, but it absolutely boggles my
mind why you would think anyone reading your post would take any of their
valuable time to help you with a problem that you think is not worthy of
your time to "tinker" with. Frank
