Second operating system

Could anyone tell me how to remove the second choice on
the boot up sequence as i have removed the second O/S
system and i can't seem to remove the choice for it.

Edit the file c:\boot.ini and remove the extra entry.

Tried that purplhaz but there is only one entry any thing
else you can think of.

As far as I know that is the ONLY place those entries are stored. Maybe you
have multiple boot.ini files?

Start - Run - MSCONFIG

Go to the BOOT.INI tab and click on the "Check all boot paths" button.

If that does not clear the second boot item then you must have some
sort of third party boot manager program installed, and you need to
remove or reconfigure that.
