I installed a second drive, and would like to move user files to the second
drive. I think it would be good if I have to reinstall vista.. But how to do
that?

A very good way to proceed would be to buy a copy of Acronis True Image
and do the job properly and reliably. You will have to spend a bit of
money and read the instructions, but if your system gets hosed and you
ever need to restore you can do so in an hour or two instead of a day.

7tools also do something similar but Acronis is more versatile I think.
You do not have to make a full backup every time, only set it to back up
changes.

Hi,

Open Windows Explorer to the Users\<user> folder, right click that user's
data folder and check properties. On the Location tab is an option to 'move
target'. You should be able to move the majority of the data folders, ie:
documents, downloads, etc., but do not move or attempt to move system or
appdata folders.

I have acronis true image V.11 installed, but for some reason it has stopped
working and it scares the shit out of me not having a proper backup
