hello

i am trying to search through all the NDR, i get, for all the "mailbox
full" NDRs.

however when i type "mailbox" or "full" (or even mailbox full!) into
outlook's search bar it does not find any, yet i can wade through the
load of ndrs and physical see them!

the reason i want to do this is to try and clean up my database so i
dont keep emailling people with bad email address', but if i take all
the ndr's and ban them i am also banning proper customers who have full
mailboxes!

please help!

all the best

andrew

Are these NDRs in plain text or HTML?

sorry but how can i tell?

The NDR looks like this:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: This month
Sent: 12/07/2005 14:25

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

(e-mail address removed) on 12/07/2005 15:14
A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the
message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two
recipients. Contact your administrator.

The NDR looks like this:

Looks plain text to me. However, no where in the NDR you quoted do I see
the word "mailbox" or "full" so how do you expect searching for those words
to find this NDR or others similar to it?

You're not going to be able to search NDRs like this, at least not without writing CDO or Redemption code. These are actually IPM.Report items, not IPM.Note messages. What you see on the screen is generated on the fly from various MAPI property tags. There is no content in the item's actual message body.
