Searching linked Documents

Jess

Hi,
I was wondering how to search documents that are hyperlinked.
I have a table and one of the fields is a hyperlink.
then i want to create a search form which will have a several 'keyword'
fields. Just say you enter "world" into the into one of the 'keyword' seach
fields, then the results would return all of the documents that contain
"world" in them.
Can someone please help me? This has been bugging me for a while.
Thanks :)
Jess

This is quite a major undertaking. Depending on the quantiy of documents
and if they are all located in one directory, many directories or accross a
LAN you may need to call Google for help. First off what kind of documents,
Word, Excel, PDF? If they are PDF Adobe provides the ability to build
search indexes for a price. For office documents you would have to depend
on some type of desktop search engine to build an index or do a live search
(slow). Any way, Access alone isn't going to get you there, you will have
to look to a search engine of some sort and the developer resources they
provide.
