Searching for a Doc

I am trying to search for a document that has a specific word or phrase. In
xp pro it was easy, in vista it is difficult. I think you have to use
Filters, but I can not find a filter dialog. What is the step by step to do
this.

You should be able to do this in the Start Menu search box, enter your
search phrase and take a look under the "Files" result returned.
