Just Me

I would like to be able to search a specific folder and not a whole drive,
is this possible in XP Pro

For a example, in my K drive I have a folder called "images" I want to
search within that folder only. The best I can tell is XP allows me to
search drives and folders within the drives, I want to search a specific
folder.

any help is appreciated

In Explorer, navigate to the folder you want to search.
Press the F3 key
Click "All files and folders"
(The "look in" field should be pre-filled in with the current folder)
If you don't want to search subfolders, then click the "More Advanced
Options" button and uncheck the "search subfolders" entry.
Enter your search parameters and click "Search"

- Right click the folder > Search..
- Open the folder, click Search icon at the toolbar.
- Launch Search > in the Look In box, click browse > browse for the folder

Right click the folder in explorer and select search, now it will search
just that folder.

Using Search:

Start menu > Search
Click All files and folders
Open the drop down menu for "Look in:"
Click "browse" at the bottom of the list.
Find the folder you are looking for and click O.K.

As mention above, it is both easier and quicker to search a particular
folder by right-click the folder in Windows Explorer
