Searching Excel Directory

Hi,
I store alot of excel spreadsheets in a directory. The spreadsheets contain
numbers. When I search the directory for a specific number it does not find
it. It will only find words. Is there a trick to get it to find numbers.

None that I know other than to preface the numbers with an apostrophe or
format as text.
