I'm posting in this forum because I think my question regarding
searchindexer.exe relates to the Outlook 2007 beta that I've been using for
a few months. Assuming I'm correct, can anyone tell me why this
memory/processer-intensive program pops up at random and consumes mega
resources while I'm working at my computer. My understanding is that all
Windows search programs are supposed to work in the background and only
while one's computer is idle. And you can't kill it--it just keeps
reemerging ala Jason in Halloween. Thanks for any help.
