My search options from the tool bar have stopped working.
I click on the tool bar search icon, the search windo
opens but it is blank. It has two Icon choices, " new"
or "customize" when I click on theither of these nothing
happens. I have tried downloading IE 6.0, but this does
not sole the problem. How do I get the search options
back? I have ran Ad-Aware several times and noticed that
Comet was located on machine. Any ideas on how to get
search to work. When I press customize, all I get is a
blank window.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
