how do I clear the drop down box of the search in microsoft outlook 2003? I
have look on line where is says to clear the registry and I cannot not make
sense on how to do that

If you cannot make sense of the instructions for how to edit the registry, please do not try. Get a knowledgeable friend to help you or learn to live with outdated entries in the drop down box.

Incorrect editing of the registry can and does cause myriad problems, many of which are only fixable by a complete wipe and reload.
