search

I have two things I would like to get help with.

first.

My search was working then I had an issue with my website. I did something
during troubleshooting it that killed my frontpage extensions for the search.
I recalculated my hyperlinks on both local and remote. I had to get the
company that hosted my site fix the extensions and appears they have done
that. Now when I click on search and search for a word, it doesn't come up
with a result. It shows a result form instead. My site is
http://www.upgradenrepair.com. The search link is on top of the site. How can
I fix that?

Second

I want to setup another search that is seperate from that search. I want the
main search above to search the entire site like it used to. This search I
only want it to search designated pages that I designate. I have no clue how
to do that.

Thank you in advance for your help.

go to this page /search.htm and select and delete the search component.
save the page. then insert a new search component and publish the page.
try it's function again by browsing to it and trying.

Thank you for your response. I did what you suggested but now I get "page
cannot be found" What do I need to do? Again thanks for your response.

assuming that you made the change on your local web, republish it to the
server and see if it's OK,
if not, give me the URL of the failing page.

believe me this problem isn't insurmountable.

have your server admins repair the extensions on that web.
