I appear to have some sort of hi jack or virus that prevents me from
accessing any address in Internet explorer, any Google search, or response
from ebay mails.
Regardless of any url typed in IE, I get redirected to a variety of sites,
mostly porn.
Tried all the usual, spybot, adaware AVG etc, still got it !!
Any ideas would be welcome
Thanks
Bob

On a different PC, get

Spyware Terminator (by Crawler) and it latest update

Or you can try with HiJackThis (just be carefully -- not easy or user friendly.)

You could try using the IP to get to a web site where you can get an online
scan done; that sometimes bypasses the virus. Instead of the normal
address, just put the IP numbers into your browser:

For Symantec/Norton, it would be: 72.246.31.67
McAfee is: 216.49.88.12

Many thanks, followed your advice.
Not 100% sure which one did it, but I am now able to access my homepage and
ebay watched item emails are now functional
