Search VIEW settings keep changing

When I use Search, under VIEW, CHOOSE DETAILS, I have
selected.... NAME, IN FOLDER, SIZE, DATE MODIFIED, AND
DATE CREATED.

I then go to TOOLS, FOLDER OPTION, VIEW, click on APPLY TO
ALL FOLDERS.

The next time I boot, checked under VIEW, CHOOSE DETAILS,
will be... Name, Type, Attributes, and Relevance.

DATE MODIFIED, AND DATE CREATED will be missing,
Attributes, and Relevance will be there instead. I have
reset this several dozen times and it keeps changing.

Any ideas why both of these settings will NOT stay locked
in?
