search tool gone!

my search tool is suddenly gone. win+f doesnt work,and
when i press the search button in folder nothing happens.
Can someone please help me, I would like to be able to
search again...

I have winxp home sp1. Thank you

Hi, sais installation failed when I try to reinstal the
srchasst.inf file (I have the cd...), so perhaps some
virus has hit me hard... Thank you anyway
