Search stream ?

Hello. I need to search and extract the subject of a txt file. Is this
do-able? Could you show me a sample code? Thanks very much!

Hello
this should be simple , you would read the file then search with in your
read buffer. you can use built in string function for that . you can also
find many samples of file operations .

Actually, what I want to do is to search a word within a byte stream. (This
byte stream is passed in from a CMS component.) For instance, I'd like to
search the word "SUBJECT" in the byte stream. Is this possible? How?
I read the articles you recommanded, but didn't find much help from them.
