Search Results are Yielding OLD Data - HELP

I recently updated my website completely. The FrontPage2003 search component
is still pulling up old pages which are now broken links. I found a solution
in the Microsoft archives, but it's for FrontPage 97 I believe.

Anyway, it instructs me to delete 2 files in the \_vti_pvt folder...no
problem. Then it instructs me to delete 9 files in the \_vti_txt\default.wti
folder. I can't find that folder anywhere.

I used the Windows Explorer program and had it also check for hidden
files/folders. No go. My only thought is that the \_vti_txt\default.wti
folder is no longer part of FrontPage, FP2003 in particular.

Any idea how I can clear my old data so it doesn't pull up on a search?

Open the remote web via FrontPage, and Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Thanks Tom! It worked. I didn't even realize you could use the Recalculate
Hyperlinks feature on the remote web!! It's been there all this time.
Thanks again!

Glad you got it sorted out!
You should recalculate any time you make changes to your web.
