Search Not working

Dear Sir,

I have genuine Windows Xp Installed on my PC and has all latest Updates
including SP2. Recently I checked that my Search is not working. I tried
repairing my windows through CHKDSK /r command and still problem not solved.
Please provide me method to repair my windows, if any file corrupt so that my
search should start as usual.
