Search Key Not Found In Any Record

I have a corrupted record in In my Access 2K mdb file. I have tried to
compact the file and it just hangs up. The compacting bar continues to show
and the databse container comes back up on the screen. It does create an
db1.mdb of exactly the same size of the corrupted file.

I have tried to copy the table to a new table and nothing gets copied
(within the same mdb)
I have tried to delete the record and it comes back with the errir in the
subject of this post.

Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

I went to the url that Tony sent and attempted to fix this mdb based on the
information found there. Unfortualtely it did not solve the problem.

I zipped the file and sent it to my local machine (I have been working on a
2003 server via terminal services and wanted to make sure it was not
something happening on that installation)

Each of the records in the file have an OrderID and when I run a select
query that displays records with OrderID <243387 it will display all the
records up to the one that is corrupted.

When I run the append query . on my local machine, I got the message that
1029 records would not be appended due to valadation rules?

Again any help would be appreciated.
