search in start menu don't work

When i try to search files using start-> search->Files or
folder .this command doesn't work.
Please can you help me to fix this problem
 
You can try to re-apply the last service pack.

Also, this is tipical to a virus. You should scan. If you had one and it
was cleaned, the find will still fail from repair, but I think you can
repair by re-applying the last SP.
