search function

I have lost the search function on my server. I click
start, search for files or folders and nothing happens. I
can't search at all, by any of the various ways to search.
I can explore though. Does anyone know the exe correlated
with this function or any ways I can resolve or
troubleshoot this problem. Thank you in advance for your
help.

Hi Jennifer ,


This is part of the explorer.exe process I think . What
service pack are you at ? have you rebooted the server .
If all else fails re-install your service pak . That
should fix it .

I am on service pack 4 and did try rebooting, but it
didn't fix it.
