search function

We are on FrontPage2000 and the search function just
keeps coming back "no catalog". Can anyone help...pls...
 
Contact your host as they must build a Index Catalog for your site.

Well that's what we thought, so thank you for confirming
it. They came back and said we had to do it. Should I be
wording it differently? We can't seem to convey to them
what we need and they keep blowing us off.
 
There is no way for you to build a Index Server catalog on their server unless they give you Admin
access to their server.

Sound like you host doesn't know anything about running Windows Servers, you might want to consider
switch web host.
